Practice Directives

Practice Directives are issued by the Nunavut Court of Justice to provide guidance on court procedures and practices for legal professionals and litigants.

Purpose

Practice Directives supplement the Rules of Court by providing detailed guidance on specific procedures, filing requirements, and courtroom protocols.

Compliance

Legal professionals and self-represented litigants are expected to familiarize themselves with applicable Practice Directives before appearing in court.

Current Practice Directives are available for download on this page. For questions about specific directives, contact the Court Registry.
