The Youth Justice Court of Nunavut (YCJN) is a special court for young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who are charged with breaking the law under the Canadian Criminal Code or the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).

Cases in this court are handled by a Youth Justice Court Judge. The goal is not only to deal with the offence, but also to help youth take responsibility and find positive ways to move forward.

All six judges of the Nunavut Court of Justice can hear youth cases. In some communities, Justices of the Peace (JPs) are also appointed to help with youth matters.
